Nice fan, but light is just okay... Eventhough I was aware of the light output before ordering. I am really suprised at lack of light. Two flourescent bulbs under globe are pretty dim. Am I to blame for expecting more light...? maybe. The fan itself is nice, just as expected (would be 5 stars). Only complaint is light output. June 3, 2011
Great looking but will not dim This fan looks Amazing!!! It mounted with ease and was balanced almost perfectly right out of the box. It's very quiet when operating at high speed. The reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 is because I bought the correct dimmer remote and it will not function with this fan. After talking with Sea Gull they said this ceiling fan will NOT DIM! The remote still turns the light on and off and operates the 3 fan speeds but no dimmer :( Sea Gull also said you can hook up a manual dimming switch to the fan but it will void the warranty. I'm also reluctant to do so considering the light uses CFL bulbs which tend to flicker when dimming. June 17, 2010

A. The Sea Gull Lighting Quality Max Plus does include the light kit but the glass is a White Opal.
